Canon T6i vs T7 – Check Which One Is Best & Why?

Canon t7 was released in Feb – 2018 & T6i in Feb – 2016. Both Cameras are Amazing with some similarities & differences, but if you are looking for the best one with better photo & video quality, I would recommend the Canon t6I rather than the t7.

Why Do We Recommend the Canon T6i?

  • Canon t6i is built with the DIGIC 6 image processor, and t7 is built with the DIGIC 4+ processor. DIGIC 6 processor is built to provide better autofocus, faster Image processing, better resolution and it consumes less power to run for extra time.
  • The light sensitivity of the Canon T6i is 100-12800 ISO & expandable to 25600 ISO, but the t7 is 100-6400. You will get 2 times better low-light & tough-light photography with Canon t6i than t7.
  • It has 1040k dots higher resolution screen that helps to display more detailed visual information than the t7. Canon T6i has 92ok dots screen resolution.
  • Its continuous shooting speed is 5 fps, Which means it can take up to 5 pictures in a second, whereas Canon t7 can take up to 3. To do that, you just need to press & hold the shutter button. This feature gives you more options to select the best shoot from 5 of them.
  • It has a microphone port where you can attach a microphone & shoot video with crystal-clear sound quality. On the other hand, Canon t7 doesn’t have a microphone port.
  • Canon t6i contains 19 focus points, which helps to focus on 19 objects at the same time, whereas the Canon t7 has 9 focus points.
  • It has a touchscreen display that helps to focus or zoom on any specific object by tapping on the screen. Canon T7 doesn’t have it.
  • The T6i flash coverage is 12.0m, whereas T7’s flash coverage is only 9.2m.
  • Anti Flicker feature is available on Canon T6i that helps to reduce uneven color and exposure under flickering light, but Canon T7 Doesn’t have it.

Maybe the Canon t7 price can make you comfortable because it’s little bit cheaper than the T6i. But you have to compromise all the above-mentioned features, now the choice is yours. I hope it was helpful to make the right decision.
